Get Involved

You can make a difference by supporting one or more of these areas:

• Research: Explore the history of industry, schools, mining, agriculture, retail, civic/social groups, athletics, pioneers, and the citizens of Leeds, including our veterans. 

• Identification/Restoration/Preservation of Historic Sites: Preservation of historic sites such as the Rowan House, Bass House, Depot, cemeteries, historic buildings (including homes), and historic districts. 

• Identification/Restoration/Preservation of Historic Documents and Pictures: Help with the preservation of Leeds/Moton High School pictures/yearbooks, digitization of Leeds...Her Story, and Leeds newspapers, books, articles, and pictures highlighting Leeds.

• Administrative Roles: Website, social media, event rentals at the Rowan House or Depot, inventory of artifacts and documents, maintenance of properties, accounting, grant writing, photography/videos, etc.
