LATEST NEWS AND INFORMATION Our next meeting is February 12 The public is invited to attend the Leeds Historical Society's February 12 meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Rowan Oaks Historical Home aat 1900 Montevallo Road in Leeds. Loretta Veasey will speak at the history of Rowan Oaks. The sociey meets every other month in February, April, June, August, October, and December. The society schedules speakers for each meeting. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free to the public. Need a facility for your event? We have facilities available for events, such as weddings, receptions, parties, teas and reunions. Choose from the Historic Depot in downtown Leeds at 8335 Thornton Road and Rowan Oaks Historic Home at 1900 Montevallo Road. Call Margaret Little at 699-1010 to rent the Depot. Call Loretta Veasey at 699-8253 to inquire about renting Rowan Oaks. Proceeds from the rentals help support Leeds Historical Society projects.
